Security concerns, Section 144 enforced for 2 days in Jhang too

In view of security concerns, Section 144 has also been imposed in Jhang for 2 days.

The Punjab government has issued a notification on the implementation of Section 144, banning all kinds of political gatherings, sit-ins, meetings, rallies and demonstrations.

Fare fixed at Rs 55 per stop on BRT express routes

According to the notification, all kinds of political gatherings will be banned in Jhang on October 2 and 3. Earlier, the Punjab government imposed Section 144 in Mianwali for 7 days due to the threat of terrorism.

According to the notification, all kinds of political gatherings, sit-ins, meetings, demonstrations and protests will be banned in Mianwali from today till October 7.

Inflation rose to 9.3% in urban areas and 3.6% in rural areas

On the recommendation of the district administration, it has also been decided to deploy Rangers in Mianwali, 2 companies of Rangers will be deployed in Mianwali from 1st to 3rd October.

The notification said that Section 144 was imposed to maintain law and order, protect human lives and property, in view of security threats, any public gathering can be a soft target for terrorists.
