In the first quarter of the current financial year, cement exports from the country have recorded a growth of 22% on annual basis.

According to the data released by the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association, 2.14 million tons of cement exports were recorded during the first quarter of the financial year (July-September 2024), which is 22% more than the same period of the previous financial year.

In the same period of the last fiscal year, the volume of cement exports was recorded at 1.75 million tons, in September, the volume of cement exports was recorded at 0.98 million tons, which is 59% more than August and 72% more than September last year, 0.61 million tons in August and 0.57 million tons of cement in September last year. Exports were recorded.

According to statistics, in the first quarter of the financial year, the total volume of cement consumption in the country was recorded at 10.27 million tons, which is 14% less than the same period of the previous financial year.
