Constitutional amendments will fall on the neck of PML-N, Miftah Ismail

KARACHI: Former Federal Minister Miftah Ismail has said that even if the Muslim League-N thinks about constitutional amendments, it will fall on them later.

Former Federal Minister Miftah Ismail while talking to the media said that we had gathered the elders of Karachi today but the former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi could not reach due to the closure of Islamabad.

He said that two political forces are at odds and the people are suffering. The Shanghai Cooperation Conference is taking place and we are watching in Islamabad. This is causing loss to both the people and the economy of the country.

Miftah Ismail said that the government should allow PTI to protest peacefully. But Tehreek-e-Insaf should also leave the path of violence and protest peacefully. The government and PTI should take a step back and handle the matter.

He said that the constitutional amendment is coming and the members of the assembly do not know what is the matter. A new court is being brought in through the amendments. The PML-N should think that these laws will fall down their throats later.
