A joint committee was established for negotiations on constitutional amendments

Islamabad: People’s Party and Muslim League-N have established a joint committee for negotiations on constitutional amendments.

According to the sources, the joint committee includes Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Khawaja Saad Rafiq on the side of the PML-N. While Nayar Bukhari and Sherry Rehman are included in the committee from the People’s Party.

The committee of Muslim League-N and People’s Party will negotiate with political parties on constitutional amendments. While the joint committee will take the political parties into confidence on the constitutional amendments.

On the other hand, the government delegation headed by Ishaq Dar met JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence. The government delegation included Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Nayyar Bukhari, Naveed Qamar and Sherry Rehman. While JUI’s Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidari, Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi and Muhammad Aslam Ghori were participants.

The political situation of the country was discussed in the meeting. While Maulana Fazlur Rehman was invited to participate in the Palestine Conference on Monday, October 7.
