Atta Tarar explained the reasons for banning PTM

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar has said that PTM has links with the banned TTP (Fitnah-ul-Khawarij) and Afghan Taliban, and it was decided to ban it on the basis of its links with terrorist organizations.

During a press conference in Islamabad, Atta Tarar said that the Pashtun Protection Movement was receiving external funding and its narrative was anti-Pakistan, Afghan citizens affiliated to PTM attacked the Pakistani embassy and desecrated the flag.

The Federal Information Minister further said that providing any kind of support to PTM is prohibited, the organization’s links with terrorist groups and funding are being investigated.

He said that any organization is declared illegal on the basis of evidence, it is seen where their funding is coming from and what are their objectives.

Atta Tarar also said that flags cannot be allowed to be taken down from embassies, PTM burnt Pakistan’s flag.

He said that it is not allowed to harm the ideology of Pakistan, this is a warning for the organizations that are in contact with PTM.

The federal minister said that an all-party conference was held yesterday to express solidarity with the people of Palestine, in which Tehreek-an-Antar did not participate, while the founder PTI went to London to campaign for Zack Goldsmith.
