UAE announces visa-free entry facility for India

UAE Federation of Immigration and Customs Authority has announced visa-free entry facility for India.

According to a foreign news agency, Indian citizens who have a valid Schengen or US resident visa will be issued an Emirates visa after paying the prescribed fee.

According to Emirates Daily, Brigadier Shail Saeed Al Khayili, director of the authority, said that the change in the visa policy for Indian citizens is aimed at bilateral long-term strategic relations. Relaxation in visa regulations will also boost tourism.

Regarding the visa fee, the authority said that according to the regulations approved by the UAE Cabinet in this regard, Indian citizens who have a US resident visa or a green card or a valid EU visa will be charged 14 A day visa will be issued for Dh100.

The statement added that if a co-visa is to be extended, a 14-day extension will be done at 250 dirhams, while the fee for a 60-day visa has been set at 250 dirhams.

Earlier, important instructions were issued for foreign workers coming to work in the UAE, foreign workers coming to the country will have to undergo four mandatory medical tests.
