Balochistan National Party (BNP) Mengal defector Senator Qasim Ronjhu has resigned from the Senate membership.

Qasim Ronjho submitted his resignation to the party. Qasim Ronjhu is also the parliamentary leader of BNP Mengal in the Senate.

In this regard, the party leader Sajid Tareen has said that the party meeting is going on in which the final decisions will be taken, the resignation has been received which will be submitted to the Senate.

It should be noted that Naseema Ehsan and Qasim Ronjho had voted in favor of the 26th constitutional amendment, on which party chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal had asked for the resignation of the two senators.
