According to the Meteorological Department, smog generally continues from November to December. However, this time due to climate change there is a fear of clear increase in smog.
On the other hand, pollution from factories and smoke from vehicles can also lead to increased smog.
The Department of Meteorology has expressed the fear of increasing smog in some major cities of Pakistan this year. These include Lahore, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Kasur and Faisalabad.
