
Fair implementation of the UN Charter is a major challenge, Prime Minister
Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that fair implementation of United Nations Charter is a big challenge. And despite UN resolutions on the right to self-determination, conflicts like Kashmir and Palestine are still unresolved.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said in his statement that the 79th anniversary of the United Nations gives us an opportunity to reiterate our commitment to achieve the principles and goals of the United Nations Charter.
He said that the fair implementation of the UN Charter is also a big challenge. The adverse effects of climate change, increasing geo-political tensions and economic difficulties indicate major challenges to the global system.

Shahbaz Sharif said that despite the resolutions of the United Nations on the right to self-determination, disputes like Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine under the illegal occupation of India are still unresolved. As long as the provisions of the basic document of the United Nations are ignored. The crisis will deepen.
He said that he reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to multilateralism on this UN Day.
The Prime Minister said that we will continue to work together with the United Nations with the determination to make this world a better place for all. Where the rights of all people, especially those struggling for legitimate and inalienable rights, can be given their rights.
