
Pakistan lose three against England, trail by 194

RAWALPINDI: After restricting England to a score of 267, courtesy of some incredible bowling by Sajid Khan and Noman Ali, Pakistan lost three wickets before the end of day one in the last test.
Abdullah Shafique was the first to leave the field in the tenth over, after a delivery from Shoaib Bashir found the pads of the Pakistani opener. Shafique reviewed but ball tracking showed that the middle stump would have been taken out. He only managed to make 14 runs off 27 balls.
Saim Ayub was dismissed a few overs later in the 13th. Jack Leach got his first wicket of the match after Ayub shot the ball straight to square, where Joe Root was positioned to take the catch. He made 19 runs off 36 deliveries.
In the very next over, Kamran Ghulam would be taken out by Gus Atkinson. It would Kamran’s worst performance in the series, scoring only three runs on nine deliveries. Ghulam was castled on Atkinson’s fourth delivery of the innings.
Pakistan currently stand at 73 for 3 after 23 overs. They trail by 194.
