NEPRA makes electricity cheaper

NEPRA has approved to cheapen electricity by 86 paise per unit.

According to the ongoing notification, the reduction has been made in the context of the monthly fuel adjustment for August, the relief of reduction in electricity prices will be given to the consumers in the bills of October.

PTI issued show cause notices to Senator Faisal Saleem and Zarqa Taimur

Consumers who have received bills will get this relief in their November bills, the reduction will not apply to electric consumers.

The CPPA had requested a reduction of 57 paise per unit.
