Announcement of special privileges for law-abiding foreigners in the UAE

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has said that expatriates living in Dubai and their Emirati sponsors who have not violated any residency laws in the last 10 years will enjoy special privileges from November 1.

According to media reports, the Ideal Face initiative is for those who adhere to the Emirate’s residency rules. Its benefits include priority call service when contacting Amer Call Center, Ideal Face Digital Certificate, mobile service vehicle to senior citizens at their residences. Services are included but these benefits are applicable only to individuals, these benefits will not apply to institutions.

For these privileges, an Emirati citizen or a foreign resident must have stayed in Dubai for at least ten years. Must be sponsored by one or more individuals who have not been convicted of any residency violations for the past ten years.

Sponsor should not have any record of residency violation in the current year. The aim of this initiative is to promote positive behavior among all members of society who demonstrate commitment to Dubai’s residency laws.
