Pakistan’s T20 squad for Zimbabwe tour

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled Pakistan’s T20 squad for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe.

Babar Azam, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been kept out of this game’s lineup to let them prepare for games against Australia.

According to PCB’s statement, Arafat Minhas, Haris Rauf, and Haseebullah will be part of Pakistan’s T20 international squad promising a fierce performance. Moreover, Jahandad Khan and Mohammad Abbasi Afridi are included to add fresh energy, with experienced players like Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha to offer time tested oversight.

Qasim Akram and Sahibzada Farhan are also made part of the T20 team against Zimbabwe to offer younger players an international platform. The players for this tournament will not only be vying for victory in the upcoming game but also working to ensure a continued place in Pakistan’s squad for more matches through the year.
