83 billion increase in revolving debt of power sector

The revolving debt of the power sector has increased by 83 billion and the volume of revolving debt has reached 2 thousand 393 billion.

The details of revolving loans were presented in the meeting of the National Assembly under the chairmanship of Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, according to which the revolving loans of the power sector have increased by 83 billion rupees during the financial year 2023-24.

In the question period in the National Assembly, it was stated in writing regarding the revolving loans that after the increase of 83 billion rupees in the revolving loans of the power sector, the size of the loan has reached 2 thousand 393 billion rupees.

There is a possibility of reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country

In the year 2022-23, the revolving debt of Power Division was 2 thousand 310 billion rupees with an increase of 57 billion rupees, while in the year 2021-22 the revolving debt was 2 thousand 253 billion rupees with a decrease of 27 billion rupees.

In the year 2020-21, the revolving debt of Power Division increased by 130 billion rupees to 2 thousand 280 billion rupees and in the year 2019-20, the revolving debt increased by 538 billion rupees to 2 thousand 150 billion rupees.
