The possibility of reduction in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan

Prices of petroleum products in Pakistan are expected to decrease by Rs.5.

According to the report of Moqar Qaumi newspaper, the price of diesel is expected to decrease by Rs. 5 and the price of petrol by Rs. 4 for the next 15 days from November 1, 2024.

It should be noted that the price of petrol and diesel has decreased in the global market. According to the newspaper report, the global price of European Brent crude oil increased by 8 dollars this month, but decreased by 10 dollars per barrel in the last week of October.

In three months, Pakistan received 2 billion 30 million dollars of external funding

European Brent crude went as high as $81 per barrel on October 7 but fell to $71.12 a barrel yesterday. The dollar fell to $71.5 a barrel.

Due to the price of oil in the world market, there is a possibility of reduction in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan, the final decision will be taken by the Prime Minister on the proposal of Ogra.
