The rate of return of National Savings Schemes has been reduced

Central Directorate of National Savings has reduced the rate of interest on National Savings Certificates.

The rate of interest on separate savings certificates has been increased to 12.26% and the rate of interest on defense savings certificates has been increased to 12.12%.

The rate of interest on Welfare Savings Certificates has been reduced to 13.92% and the rate of interest on Special Savings Accounts has been reduced to 11.77%.

Similarly, the rate of interest on family welfare accounts of martyrs has been increased to 13.92%, the reduction in interest rate will be applied from November 4.
