Snowfall in the desert for the first time in the history of Saudi Arabia
Riyadh: Snowfall was recorded for the first time in Saudi Arabia’s Al-Jawf desert.
According to a foreign news agency, Saudi Arabia is also affected by climate change like most countries in the world.
Other Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, are classified as desert and hot regions. But in Saudi Arabia, heavy rains, hailstorms, waterfalls, greenery in mountains and deserts have also been recorded.
In this regard, the National Center for Meteorology of the United Arab Emirates says that this unusual weather event was caused by the low temperature pressure in the Arabian Sea.
The incident is surprising because the temperature in the Arab region rises to 55 degrees Celsius. So the sudden emergence of frost was really surprising.
