Supreme Court of India orders permanent ban on firecrackers till November 25

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has ordered the Delhi government to permanently ban firecrackers till November 25.

According to a foreign news agency, a hearing was held in the Indian Supreme Court regarding air pollution in New Delhi. On this occasion, the Supreme Court of India reprimanded the Delhi Police in strong words.

The Supreme Court of India, while giving an ultimatum, asked the Delhi government to take a decision on the permanent ban on firecrackers in the city by November 25.

The court further said that the Delhi Police should take immediate action against buying, selling and burning firecrackers.

During the hearing of the case, the 2-judge bench said that no religion encourages any such activity. Which causes pollution.

The Supreme Court of India further said that bursting firecrackers also affects the fundamental right of citizens to health.
