ISLAMABAD: US Ambassador Donald Bloom has said that Pakistani farmers will ensure access to modern agricultural technology.
Climate Smart Agriculture project started with US financial support. Inauguration of Climate Smart Agriculture Activity was held in Faisalabad.
Speaking on the occasion, US Ambassador Donald Bloom said that the 5-year investment will promote cooperation in Pakistani agriculture. And will ensure the access of Pakistani farmers to modern agricultural technology.
He said that the United States will partner with farmer organizations, local businesses and research institutions. While our focus will be on better farming practices and technology support.

Donald Bloom said that it is hoped that these measures will help to protect the environment and improve crop production. And this will increase the income of the farmers.
He said that we are sowing the seeds of success together. And will ensure that Pakistani farmers have access to modern agricultural technology. Will work with farmers to introduce modern machinery. While we will also introduce automatic irrigation system to ensure efficient use of water.
The American ambassador said that advanced technology will also be provided for weather forecasting. The United States and Pakistan have a long and strong partnership and are committed to partnering with Pakistan to address climate change.
