Petroleum products are likely to become more expensive in Pakistan after a slight increase in crude oil prices in the international market.

According to the sources, petrol prices are expected to increase by 4 rupees and diesel prices by 5 rupees per liter from November 16.

July to October: 2% annual basis on sales of petroleum products

According to economic analysts, the IMF delegation may also demand an increase in the petroleum development levy in the negotiations with the Pakistani authorities.

Earlier on October 31, the price of crude oil in the international market was recorded at 71 dollars 80 cents per barrel, which is currently selling at 72 dollars per barrel.
