Increase in price of chicken meat by Rs 21 per kg

Lahore, the price of chicken meat suddenly increased.

Chicken meat has become expensive by Rs 21 per kg, after which the price of chicken meat has gone from Rs 490 to Rs 511 per kg.

According to the official price list, the price of live chicken has increased by Rs 15 per kg, after which the wholesale rate of broiler chicken has increased to Rs 339 and the retail rate has increased to Rs 353 per kg.

The price of eggs per dozen has increased by two more rupees, after which it has come down to the level of Rs 334 per dozen eggs.

In Multan, the wholesale rate of live broiler chicken is Rs 322 per kg, the retail rate is Rs 336 per kg while meat is Rs 485 per kg, the price of eggs per dozen is fixed at Rs 330 per kg.

Chicken meat was sold at Rs 520 per kg in Islamabad yesterday, the prices of chicken and eggs are different in other cities of the country.
