FBR has introduced a new integrated system for payment of all taxes EasyPayment 2.0

FBR has introduced epayment 2.0, a new integrated system for all tax payments.

According to FBR, payment of withholding tax, income tax, sales tax and federal excise duty has been combined under this system. The new tax payment system is available within the IRIS 2.0 portal.

This is an important development in the direction of modernizing Pakistan’s tax system under the vision of the Government of Pakistan. The new system will enable customers to make easy online payments through internet banking, ATM and mobile banking.

The period for resolving complaints of bank customers has been reduced from 45 days to 30 days

FBR has provided taxpayers with a comprehensive and improved user-friendly interface through ePayment 2.0. A confirmed Computerized Payment Receipt (CPR) will be issued through email and SMS on completion of payment.

According to FBR, providing a single integrated interface eliminates the need for multiple logins and switching platforms. FBR is committed to facilitating taxpayers by creating a more efficient, digitally developed Pakistan.
