Loan program agreement between Pakistan and Asian Development Bank

ISLAMABAD: The loan program agreement between Pakistan and Asian Development Bank has been concluded.

According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Asian Development Bank will provide 500 million dollars to Pakistan. While the money from the loan program will be used to combat climate change and natural disasters.

Federal Minister Ahad Cheema said that Pakistan will take all possible measures to deal with climate change and disasters. We are grateful to the Asian Development Bank for its support in tackling climate change.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Economic Affairs said that the agreement was signed by Secretary Economic Affairs Kazim Niaz. While the country director signed the agreement on behalf of the Asian Development Bank.
