Section 144 in force at Defense Exhibition Ideas 2024, Karachi

On the occasion of the Defense Exhibition Ideas 2024, section 144 was imposed across Karachi under security considerations.

Section 144 has been implemented in Shahr Quaid for 7 days, a notification has been issued by the Commissioner Karachi. According to the notification, the ban will be applied from November 18 to November 24. .

In the notification issued by the Commissioner Karachi, it is said that under the enforced Section 144, gathering of more than 5 people will be prohibited. Section 144 was imposed on the request of the Additional IG, strict action orders were issued for the violation of Section 144.

According to the notification, the ban has been implemented for the convenience of local and foreign participants participating in the defense exhibition. It should be noted that earlier Section 144 has also been implemented in the federal capital Islamabad.
