In Canada, sales tax on various goods has been abolished for 2 months

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the abolition of sales tax on selected items in the country for two months.

According to foreign media, these items include baby clothes, shoes, diapers, car seats, books, newspapers, Christmas trees, and prepared foods.

The announcement is made to ease the financial hardships of Canadians.

“Our government can’t set prices at the checkout, but we can put more money in people’s pockets,” Trudeau said at a news conference in Toronto.
