Unpaid workers

This refers to the letter ‘Salaries left pending ‘ (November 17, 2024) by Syed Hussein El Edroos. It is heart-wrenching to learn that polio workers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have not been paid for the past several months while the perks and privileges of the ministers have been enhanced.

Placating the influential and lack of compassion for the downtrodden is not uncommon these days. What is the remedy for such an insensitive attitude?
