Protests, transport shutdown, railways earned 25 crores

Due to the protest of PTI in Islamabad, Pakistan Railways collected more than 25 crore revenue during 5 days due to the closure of transport and routes.

According to sources, due to PTI protests in Islamabad, citizens faced problems due to the closure of public transport and roads, due to which citizens resorted to the railway system as an alternative.

Due to which there was immense rush in the railway trains running in the country. During five days, Pakistan Railways earned more than 25 crore rupees from tickets.

According to sources, apart from PTI’s countrywide protests and road closures, the railways have benefited financially from the transport shutdown.
