Increase in Pakistan’s exports to 7 regional countries

Pakistan’s exports to 7 regional countries have recorded an increase of 4.09% on annual basis in the first 4 months of the current financial year.

According to the statistics of Pakistan Statistical Institute, in the first 4 months of the current financial year, the volume of Pakistani exports to China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives and India has been recorded at 1.506 billion dollars. 14.33% of the total exports.

In the first 4 months of the current financial year, the volume of total domestic exports was recorded at 10.50 billion dollars. Among the regional countries, China was the leading export country for Pakistan’s exports.

In the first 4 months of the financial year, the volume of Pakistani exports to China was recorded at 813.44 million dollars, which is 14.58% less than 952.38 million dollars in the same period of the previous financial year.

Exports to Afghanistan during this period were recorded at $291.77 million as against $182.61 million in the same period last fiscal.

In the first 4 months of the fiscal year, Pakistan’s exports to Bangladesh saw a growth of 28.60 percent. In the first 4 months of the fiscal year, the volume of Pakistani exports to Bangladesh was recorded at 247.31 million dollars, which was in the same period of the previous fiscal year. 192.31 million dollars.

Pakistan’s exports to Sri Lanka were recorded at $148.93 million as against $115.25 million in the same period of the previous financial year, exports to Nepal were $1.38 million and $1.74 million to Maldives in the first four months of the fiscal year.
