Short-sighted leaders

It is painful to see how, after every protest march, each stakeholder aims for a win-lose outcome and uses short-term tactics to outclass their opponents. The leaders of each party appear to be oblivious to the long-term damage caused to the country’s solidarity, stability, and image.

It is, perhaps, not yet too late to think about the country’s long-term interests rather than short-term gains.
