Constituency PP 139, by-elections today, 8 candidates contesting

Provincial Constituency PP 139 Sheikhupura Polling is being held today regarding the by-election.

The Election Commission has completed all the preparations for the by-election in the Provincial Assembly Constituency PP 139, the polling process will continue in the Constituency from 8 am to 5 pm today.

According to the spokesman, the provincial assembly seat in PP 139 Sheikhupura was vacant due to the death of Rana Afzal.

8 candidates are participating in the by-elections in the said constituency, 124 polling stations have been set up for 193 thousand voters, 124 presiding officers and 359 assistant presiding officers will perform duties for the by-elections.

Strict security arrangements have been made to maintain law and order at the polling. Today, a public holiday has been declared in Sheikhupura limits for polling.
