Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appealed for help from Lebanon for the evacuation of Pakistanis trapped in Syria.

Shahbaz Sharif contacted the Lebanese Prime Minister by telephone, the Prime Minister said that 600 Pakistanis are currently present in Syria, and requested to issue visas to Lebanon for Pakistanis to leave Syria.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the evacuation of Pakistanis from Syria is possible only through Lebanon. The Lebanese Prime Minister assured that he will provide all possible support for the evacuation of all Pakistanis from Syria, whether 600 or more, they will give visas to all Pakistanis.

It should be noted that after the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad government by the rebel group, the fighters have closed all the airports in Syria, due to which hundreds of Pakistani citizens are also trapped in other countries.
