In Syria, a special plane carrying 318 stranded Pakistanis reached Islamabad

A special plane arrived in Islamabad after evacuating 318 Pakistanis stranded in Syria.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted the Lebanese Prime Minister and appealed for help in the evacuation of Pakistanis trapped in Syria, upon which Lebanon issued visas to Pakistani citizens.

Pakistani citizens were transported by road from Syria to Lebanon, then they were sent to Pakistan by special aircraft.

The Ambassador of Pakistan sent off the Pakistani citizens at Beirut Airport, the chartered plane arrived at Islamabad International Airport in the middle of December 13.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal welcomed the Pakistani citizens on arrival of the chartered plane at Islamabad International Airport.
