President did not obstruct Madrasas Registration Bill, Governor Punjab

Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider has said that President Asif Ali Zardari has not put any obstacle on the bill for the registration of madrasas.

Speaking to the media in Chakwal, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider said that there are different suggestions of scholars on Madrasas Bill, all scholars including Maulana Fazlur Rehman should be brought on one page.

He said that a bill for the registration of madrasahs bill should be brought which all the madrasahs will accept, local elections have been held in all three provinces, only Punjab is left, now is the time for the Punjab government to announce local elections.
