Governor Punjab opposes provincial agricultural tax

Attock: Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider opposed the agricultural tax of the provincial government.

Speaking to the media, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider said that taxing agricultural land is a big abuse. Farmers are already crushed. Neither the required price of wheat was given nor was wheat purchased officially.

He said that the farmers of Punjab are worried due to lack of rains. The PPP government always gave relief to the farmers and did not impose any additional tax on the agricultural sector.

Sardar Saleem Haider said that people are worried about inflation, taxes and unemployment. While working in a few big cities cannot remove the grievances of the people of the entire Punjab.

He said that the Punjab government should take practical steps to solve the problems of the people. And the People’s Party will continue to raise its voice for the solution of public problems. Will continue to struggle to end the deprivation of the people of the backward areas.

Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan also heard the problems of the people in an open court in Attock.
