Approval of increase in gas prices

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has approved further hike in gas prices.

According to the announcement issued by Ogra, 8.71% increase in gas price for Sui Northern and 25.78% increase in gas price for Sui Southern has been approved.

According to OGRA, approval was given to fix the average gas price for Sui Northern at Rs 1778 35 paise per mmbtu.

Ogra hiked RLNG prices for November

On the other hand, the average price of gas for Sui Southern has been approved at Rs 1762 51 paise per mmbtu.

Ogra says that the decision to increase gas prices has been sent to the federal government. The final decision to increase gas prices will be taken after the advice of the federal government.
