20 people died in the boat accident in Tunisia

20 people were killed when a migrant boat sank in Tunisia.

According to the foreign news agency, the accident boat has sunk near the coast of Sfax city. It is said to be the place of departure of African immigrants.

Several people are also missing in the accident and the search is on. While 5 people were saved alive by the rescue team.

According to the Tunisian Coast Guard authorities, the bodies of 20 migrants from Africa have been recovered. Search is on for other missing persons.

It should be noted that this is the second incident of migrants drowning near the coast of Tunisia within a week.

On the other hand, the number of Pakistanis who died in the Yunnan boat accident is expected to increase from 35. The Greek coast guards ended the rescue operation after 72 hours. Officials say that it is not possible for anyone to escape due to bad weather and extreme cold.

A total of 7 bodies were recovered in the 3-day rescue operation. More than 30 Pakistanis are missing in the boat accident.

It should be noted that 5 out of 7 dead bodies are from Pakistan. 2 dead are from Sialkot, 2 from Gujarat and one from Mandi Bahauddin.

The report sent by the Greek Embassy to Pakistan said that 3 boats had an accident in the sea limits of Greece. In which 175 people were on board. The three boats that were involved in the accident had departed from Tabruk, Libya.

Pakistani Ambassador to Greece Amir Aftab Qureshi said. That the committee formed has been instructed to submit a report to the Prime Minister. Those who are involved in this disgusting business will be brought to justice.
