Karachi, to experience e-marking in matric and inter exams for 2025

It has been decided to experiment with e-marking in Karachi’s matric and inter exams for 2025.

Both the Education Boards of Karachi, Secondary Education Board and Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi have taken the final decision to conduct the current session annual examinations 2025 examination papers and their assessment (test) under e-marking.

Preparations for e-marking at the matric and intermediate level have been started, this decision has come after a training workshop on e-marking held at the Federal Board Islamabad last week in which the Matriculation Board Karachi and Intermediate Board Karachi Examination Controller Zaheeruddin. Bhutto and Zarina Chaudhry were present.

It may be noted that under the decision, matriculation and inter-board annual examinations will experiment with e-marking in 9th and 11th classes on a trial basis in 2025.

The matriculation board will conduct e-marking in biology and computer science papers of ninth grade science faculty while the inter board will conduct e-marking in mathematics paper of science general faculty.
