Bangladesh demands extradition of Hasina Wajid from India

Dhaka: Bangladesh has demanded the extradition of former Prime Minister Hasina Wajid from India.

According to a foreign news agency, the Bangladeshi Foreign Ministry has sent a message to India for the extradition of former Prime Minister Hasina Wajid.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh says that Hasina Wajid should be handed over for judicial proceedings.

It should be noted that former Prime Minister Hasina Wajid is accused of killings during the student movement. His government is also accused of widespread human rights violations. Including the extrajudicial killing of thousands of his political opponents.

The Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Sheikh Hasina’s son Sajib Wajid did not immediately respond to this.

After being in power for 15 consecutive years, the former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hussaini Wajid resigned on August 5 and fled to neighboring India.
