Strike for the demands of civil secretariat employees

Lahore, civil secretariat employees went on strike and protested in favor of their demands regarding amendment of pension rules, leave encashment and rule 17A.

Chairman Coordination Nation Council Raja Sohail Ahmed and Central President EPCA Pakistan Khalid Javed Singhida and other leaders while addressing the protestors said that earlier the government reduced the leave encashment of civil servants and abolished the recruitment under Rules 17/A. Now the pension rules have been amended.

Jamaat-e-Islami announced the start of Kisan March from December 25

Raja Sohail and Khalid Javed said that government employees give decades of their lives to government departments and the government wants to take away their right by amending the rules.

He said that government employees are still recording a peaceful protest in favor of their demands, if our demands are not heard, then a sit-in will be held in the second week of January, which will continue until the demands are approved.
