Backlog of passports is over

The backlog of passports across the country has ended.

DG Passports Mustafa Jamal Qazi visited the production unit and reviewed the printing and issuing process, 33 lakh 76 thousand 510 passports have been printed since July 1.

7 lakh 76 thousand 451 passports of normal category were issued, printing of 18 lakh 96 thousand 403 passports of urgent category was completed, 7 lakh 3 thousand 656 applications were processed under fast track category.

Speaking on this occasion, Mustafa Jamal Qazi said that the hard work done by the production team without a day off has paid off, citizens can receive their passports without waiting for a message or e-mail.

Registration of new schools subject to school bus policy

The delivery of citizens’ passports to the regional passport offices has been completed.
