State Bank has announced a holiday

The State Bank of Pakistan has announced that banks across the country will be closed for public transactions on January 1, 2025.

According to the spokesperson, the State Bank will remain closed for public transactions on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, on the occasion of a “bank holiday”.

The backlog of passports across the country is over

All banks, development financial institutions, microfinance banks will also remain closed for public transactions, the statement added that all bank employees will be present in the office as usual.
