A stay of at least 5 years in the country is mandatory for Pakistani citizenship

The federal cabinet made it mandatory to stay in the country for at least 5 years for Pakistani citizenship.

Important decisions were taken in the federal cabinet meeting presided over by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

According to the sources of the federal cabinet, a minimum stay of 5 years in Pakistan is mandatory for Pakistani citizenship. The period of stay in Pakistan as a migrant and diplomat shall not be considered as eligibility for citizenship.
