LAHORE, Chicken meat has become more expensive after an increase of four rupees yesterday.
In the official price list, chicken meat became expensive by four rupees yesterday, after which the price became Rs. 595 per kg. Today, there has been no change in the price list and the price of meat remains at the level of 595.
Petrol likely to be cheap and diesel expensive
The wholesale price of live broiler chicken is Rs 397 per kg while the retail rate of live broiler is Rs 411 per kg. There is no change in the price of eggs, the price of eggs per dozen remains at the level of Rs 329.
Yesterday in Multan, the wholesale price of live broiler chicken was Rs 369, the retail price of live broiler was Rs 383 per kg, while the price of meat was Rs 555, the price of eggs was Rs 324 per dozen.
Pakistan Stock Exchange, business boom, dollar became cheap
It should be noted that a week ago the price of chicken had significantly decreased and the price of chicken meat had gone below Rs 400, but in a few days the price of chicken has increased significantly.
Shopkeepers in different cities are charging arbitrary rates ignoring the official rates, in some places the price of chicken meat has gone up to Rs 600 per kg.
