Climate crisis

Ironically, Pakistan, which contributes less than 1 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions, is one of the countries most at risk from climate change. Devastating floods and heat waves that break records are among the consequences that are already upsetting livelihoods and taking lives.

But this crisis also offers a chance to change course and adopt sustainable habits. The dangers can be reduced by switching to renewable energy, making investments in climate-resilient infrastructure, and implementing environmentally friendly farming practices. Every person, group, and legislator has a responsibility to fight this existential crisis.
