Fog persisted in Punjab, motorways were closed for traffic at many places

Most of the areas of Punjab were engulfed in heavy fog, the motorways were closed for traffic at many places.

According to the spokesperson of the Motorway Police, Motorway M3 was closed for traffic from Faizpur to Samandri due to heavy fog at various places in Punjab.

Lahore Sialkot Motorway M11 has also been closed due to fog, contact helpline 130 for information and assistance.

Motorways are closed to ensure public safety and safe travel, citizens should travel at maximum hours of the day.

The spokesman further said that people should avoid unnecessary travel, avoid speeding and keep proper distance from the next vehicle, drivers should use fog lights.
