Budget for the new financial year

The budget for the new financial year 2025-26 will be presented in Parliament in the first week of June.
The Ministry of Finance has issued the Budget Call Circular 2025-26 according to which approval of the budget targets and documents will be taken from the federal cabinet before presenting the budget.
The approval of the budget strategy paper will be taken in the third week of April.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the meeting of the annual plan coordination committee will be held in the first week of May, the meeting of the National Economic Council will be called in the second week of May.
IMF demanded to bring mini budget
The budget estimates and documents for the Cabinet will be prepared by May, and the current and development budget revision estimates will be presented in February.
A meeting of the Budget Review Committee will be convened in February, and the mid-year review report will be presented in the National Assembly next month.
