Heavy fog in Punjab, motorways were closed for traffic at various places

Most of the areas of Punjab were engulfed in heavy fog, the motorways were closed for traffic at many places.

According to the spokesperson of Motorway Police, Motorway M2 from Lahore to Kot Momin and Motorway M3 from Lahore to Jaranwala were closed for traffic due to heavy fog at various places in Punjab.

Motorway M4 from Pindi Bhatian to Faisalabad and Lahore Sialkot Motorway M11 has also been closed due to fog, contact helpline 130 for information and assistance.

Motorways are closed to ensure public safety and safe travel, citizens should travel at maximum hours of the day.

The spokesman further said that people should avoid unnecessary travel, avoid speeding and keep proper distance from the next vehicle, drivers should use fog lights.
