Overseas Pakistanis sent home about 17 billion 84 million dollars in six months.

According to the State Bank, overseas Pakistanis sent 3.07 billion dollars to Pakistan in December 2024. According to the report, December 2024 remittances were 29% more than December 2023.

Pakistanis sent 770 million dollars from Saudi Arabia and 630 million dollars from UAE. Overseas Pakistanis sent 450 million dollars from Britain, 360 million dollars from Europe and 280 million dollars from America.

The State Bank says that in the first half of this fiscal year, Pakistanis sent 33% more money to Pakistan. Pakistanis have set a record by sending home 17 billion 84 million dollars in the last 6 months.
