75 capsules filled with dozens of heroin were recovered from the stomach of a woman who went to Saudi Arabia from Pakistan.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, the crackdown against drug trafficking is going on in different cities of the country, in this regard, 12 suspects including 4 women were arrested in 8 different operations and 20 kg of drugs were recovered.
The authorities arrested the accused along with the woman going to Riyadh at Islamabad International Airport, from whose stomach 75 capsules filled with heroin were recovered.
6 kg of hashish was recovered from the possession of the accused near the bridge on IJP Road Islamabad, 2 suspects were arrested after recovering 2.670 kg of hashish from a vehicle in G-Ten, while the vehicle was stolen. I recovered 1.3 kg of ice and arrested the accused along with the woman.
Three and a half kilograms of heroin was recovered from the possession of 3 suspects near F Block of Johar Town, Lahore, while 2.5 kilograms of opium was recovered from a woman near a hotel in Hyderabad.
Apart from this, 2 kg of ice was recovered from the possession of a woman near Al-Asif Bus Terminal on Airport Road Quetta and 1.280 kg of hashish was recovered from a parcel sent to Lahore and Karachi through the courier office in Peshawar.
ANF officials say that the use of women by the drug trafficking mafia is alarming, strict measures are indispensable to stop the exploitation of women.
