The TikTok app will cease operations on January 19 ahead of the US government ban, with the US Supreme Court hearing a case regarding the ban.

The Trump administration had banned this TikTok due to security reasons, however, the TikTok administration had challenged the ban in court on which a federal judge issued an injunction.
